The next round of grants will be made in June 2021 from applications received by 7th May 2021.
Applications will be considered for sailing activities taking place in 2021/22.
It is expected that the following round of grants will be made in Winter 2021 from applications received in the previous months.
Applications should fall within the Trust's Objective of "The advancement of amateur sport and in particular the provision of facilities and assistance to enable and encourage participation in sailing and yachting."
In addition they should come under one or more of the following categories:
i. Young people wishing to take part in training or youth development activities including qualifying regattas.
ii. Disadvantaged people, for example those who are disabled or not earning.
iii. Taking part in Tall Ships or other offshore voyages.
iv. Participation in Class or RYA recognised championships.
Supporting information should be provided that demonstrates to the Trustees financial need and how the applicant qualifies under the Trust's Objects and categories.
The Trustees will look for evidence that the applicant is also seeking or providing other sources of funding and will not normally fund more than 50% of the total cost of any activity.
The Trustees will not normally fund on-going revenue needs.
Applications are welcomed from all, whether a Club Member or not.

The Trustees hope to be able to support a good mix of applications for a variety of sailing activities.
Closing date for applications is 7th of May 2012 for the Trustees meeting to be held on 22nd June 2021.
